Training
Prowler takes pride in understanding the necessity and benefit of employing workers with thorough training and experience. Prowler’s management has a systematic and ever evolving approach to training its personnel. This “Competency Program” applies not only its new recruits, but experienced operators as well. Prowler has designed step by step procedures (called JSA’s) for every task that employees are expected to perform for each respective level of experience. We then ensure each employee is competent to perform those tasks by ensuring they understand the JSA, and have been viewed performing the task. They are then signed off as a competent worker. The minimum requirement for all new recruits is completion of H2S and First Aid. Prowler also requires the completion of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). course Transportation of Dangerous Good (TDG). Employment begins with the New Hire Orientation and Prowler Safety Orientation. All employees are provided with a copy of the Prowler Safety and Procedures Manual, and are expected to read and understand this material. New employees are typically partnered with senior employees to receive proper supervision and additional on-the-job training. Prowler encourages recruits to continually improve their knowledge and gain new skills.  Different levels of employees have different requirements. Operators require coiled tubing and well blowout courses. Prowler also encourages its employees to achieve high levels of training and understanding by graduating to journeyman certifications.
